Liome lives deep in the Ituri Rainforest in a remote part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He grew up hunting and gathering in the forest like his ancestors for thousands of years. He also grew up a slave. Now as a freed man he looks to lead his family and his people to a life that is enriched and transformed through the empowering work of Shalom University, Fight for the Forgotten, and Water4.
