NEGU, Never Ever Give Up, is a non-profit organization inspired by Jessie Rees. Eleven year old Jessie was diagnosed with cancer in 2011. A few weeks after her diagnosis, she decided she wanted to encourage other kids who were going through the same thing. Jessie and her family began packing the first Joy Jars and giving them to families within their hospital. Now, over 300,000 Joy Jars have been distributed globally.
The long term vision of the Jessie Rees Foundation is to become a national symbol of HELP and HOPE in the childhood cancer space, so every kid fighting cancer and their family have the support, encouragement and resources to fight.
